Bahamas Report

I posted last week after the Harbour Island BBC...
We trucked our way up to Treasure this week....caught a sail on the way up....

Fished today working on our spread for next weeks BBC here...had a hell of a day!
If only we had this next week we would be in the cash! (almost for sure)
Things are slowly warming up down here...

First day of the Central Abacos leg...
Released a blue 17 minutes after lines in....and then a sail shortly thereafter....sat on the daily all day until we were bumped into 5th all after 3pm (only an hour left).
Go back tomorrow and start over....
That puts us in 4th place overall....

Another story....
Had some nice shots today...but my luck got used up playing cards last night...
White missed us in the morn....Pulled the hook after ten minutes on a nice blue....missed a sail when weeds got wrapped in the line on the dropback....and then fianlly caught a blue late in the day...that puts us in 4th for this tourney and 4th overall...thur and friday left if the 7-9 doesn;t become 10-15 (thats foot waves not wind knots).
It's rough in the Bahamas no doubt

It was some seriously rough fishing on Thursday and Friday....10-12 according to the weather man...
Scored a big Zilch on thursday....made a bad move...
Yesterday, however, was much better...we went 2-3 on blue marlin....that pushed us into 3rd place so we took home a nice little trophy.....
Slowly climbing our way up....
Already getting excited about the next leg!
