BACARDI BILLFISH??

is anyone going? last i heard they only had like 6 paid entries? we want to go but sounds like a bust so far?

havent heard anything concerning entries, but i'd love to score a ride for that tourney.

They had the worng dates posted for a while and when the new ones went up they conflicted with the boss's schedule, so he wouldn't be going. That being said, they havn't sent an entry pack like they have in the past and we hadn't even told them we wouldn't be comming.
The last I spoke to Raul, he said they weren't even 100% sure if they would be at Lucaya. He mentioned possibly Old Bahama Bay and I told him to keep me informed so I could possibly put something together but havn't heard a word.
Chub cancelled not only their billfish tourney but the Member Guest that has been around since time began... Possible that Bacardi folded too?
Tough all over the islands. I heard that Lucaya was now having the same fuel problem that Chub was. The home owners at Chub and the bank took over the place from developers and will stay open but limited. They're keepong the restaurant open and its bar but the other bars are closed and they shut the power off by day during the week. That doesn't bother me as we'll be fishing while the power is down...

last week Raul sent a postcard with the dates, sounds a little late for most people to plan, the same day i get my entry form for the nantucket billfish tournament that is in august, now they are planning ahead!!

The first dates I had were Mar 8-14 then I had 15-20 not a word since... Hell, he hadn't even locked the venue last I spoke to him a few weeks ago...

chris on the OIL Slick spoke to him friday had like 6 paid they are bagging it and coming over by us for a week of fun fishing we may have our own little abaco tournament

Well I'll be all alone in the vegetable patch at Chub... Boss is comming over a few times and I've got friends comming for a few... So far looking at fishing 40-50 days...
