My guess would be yft. Would have to see a pic with dorsal sticking up.

I cought one of them a few days back. Same size too. I think its a Juvenile yft too but was told that it might be a bft too.

I caught one as well, flat line circle hook hoo bite. I couldn't believe the circle ended up right where it should, but the bait was damn near the length of the fish.
I was thinking BFT, but not sure. It was in the washington.

I'm pretty sure that's a baby blackfin, but I could be wrong.
I was wondering how you can rule out Blackfin? Is the size of the eye any indication?
