I am very tired now from a long fishing day and here is my answer to above posts. I was told about the hot bite by another charter captains that had 18 yellowfins the other night and amoung the charter fleet most know exactly where the bite is. I personally had not been down to that location and did not feel I should post this information until I had a chance to see for myself. Here is the answer to that question. Today's trip had 146 lb, 110 lb BFT and 9 Yellowfin chunking with 80 lb leader in the day time. We wre spooled once this morning as one other charter boat fishing right behind us. My freind that told me the location had 9 yellwfin chunking yesterday and was back there today and had at least 5 in the box at 7:30 am. No troll bite and everthing on live spot, mullet, butterfish and squid chunking. We did not fish any scallop boats and good old fashion chunking was the ticket. We called it a day at 9:30 am this morning and were on our way home. There were only three boats around us at daybreak this morning today one other charter boat 10 miles north of us. There are three locations and one is around 50 miles South of Cape May and the other two are around 30 miles farther south. Yesterday we fished the close location and had a 156 lb BFT. Today we fished the farther location and had our best trip this year. Hopefully I can get some pictures of today's trip posted.
