    Auto Pilots

    Guys looking for some real fisherman experience with these. I am looking at buying the TR-1 auto or the Furuno 511. Does anyone recommend one over the other. I have had a bad experience with another brand at slow troling speeds. I posted something on THT but I wanted some fishing experience. Thanks

    We have a TR1 in my opinion it sucks! Called the company they will not return my call beeen through 3 computers & 2 head units in less than a year.

    we have robertson/simrad and love em. same unit on both boats just diff names cause i guess they were bought out or some thing? one boat is twin outboards and other is twin diesel. never had problems, other than getting the outboard boat set up properly. i have fished a lot of outboard boats that the auto pilots were junk, i'd keep sayin what the hell! i dunno what is the best out there today but am very happy with ours

    I have a simrad ap25 couldn't be happier.I am a big fan of furuno so is my electronics guy but their AP is not the one to get according to him.
    DID YOU SAY YOU WANT SOME OF THIS ACTION!!

    been using the robertson simrad unit for years and i love it...and its pretty much the only one i hve seen on quality sportfishing boats.

    I have the Simrad 25 and couldn't be happier. My last boat had a Raymarine and like the Simrad alot more. Both the 25 and 26(smaller display) will do the auto zig zag, s turns etc. Simrad has led the way on AP's for a long time.

    I've had a Simrad AP11 for several years and it's been flawless in all seas and trolling. Zero problems in several hundred hours of use.
