Left for the hudson early sat morning and arrived in the afternoon and planned on doing some tilefishing but the conditioins where not the best. So after that we got up on the troll and it was dead until about 6:00 pm when the bite on the troll started. First fish landed was a 40lb longfin that took a greenmachine. Next where a couple of skips. Then all hell breaks loose and one of the 50's starts to get dumped, get a little back and dumped again and again and again and then the hook pulls. That also was on a green machine. So there goes that one. Get the spread out again and whaam another 50 starts screaming and BIG BLUE starts to put a dancing show for the next 15 min befor he snaps everything. He bite on a blue and white illander with a bally. So then it was time to set up for the chunk so all the action was around the bombs so that is where we set up for the night. Thru the night it was dead except for a blue shark and a small mako that put on a nice show for a while. Early that morning we where back up on the troll at the bombs heading for for the letters with only half the spread out and the long rigger with a blue and white illander with a bally gets crushed and that was a 80lb yellowfin. Later we landed another yellowfin about 50lbs on a greenmachine bar, and another 40lb yellowfin on a black and purple illander.
