Arrived in Costa Rica--Zancudo Lodge

Well, I arrived in Costa Rica Dec 26 & everything has gone well so far. Thought I would share some of the experience & photos of the Zancudo Lodge.

Zancudo Lodge is very different than what I expected--far nicer & beautiful than what I could have imagined.

So, I arrived & made the flight from San Jose to Golfito "airport"

The dining area--nice, clean floors, GREAT food--the bread is made here, fresh produce. I've been looking forward to the food--it did not disappoint.


The lodge housing--nice rooms, air conditioned, clean stone floors--and BIG. the scaffold is usually not there--a little improvement going on.

What would a resort be without a pool. When you get back from fishing, there is still time to enjoy a dip in the pool b4 dinner.

Yep, just like i remember it! is Raphael still working or has he retired yet? how about
Texas John & Mark are they still tearing up the bars down the strip?
Think it was Shirley in the kitchen when i was going there..... but that was some time back when Roy was there.

Forgot to add...... there are the best sunsets in the world to be seen from that bar!
