Deep,

Dude I don't think this thread is half as a bad as the teaser thread. When I saw the witchdoctor on there I almost puked. When that bomb gets dropped off the transom look out!!

Teasers don't do much for me.... I drag them from time to time... I have about a hundred favorites when it comes to them so that thread doesn't worry me... The eel though is MY secret sneaky bait and nobody else can use it!!!

WELL I THINK I CAN DO SOME TRIAL AND ERROR ON THE RIGGING. ONE LAST QUESTION. I PROMISE I'LL SHUT UP AFTER THIS. DO YOU ALL PREFER TO FISH ON TOP OR WITH AN INLINE OR BOTH.

I KNEW THIS WAS A TOUCHY SECRET BAIT, BUT JUST WANTED THE REACTION.

P.S. I AM A REC. GUY AND DON'T FISH THE MARLIN TOURNEY'S YET MY POCKET BOOK WON'T ALLOW IT!!!
THANKS AGAIN
CASEY

I can't tell ya how we are rigging and running them, but these were the first baits that we had almost 100% hook up using circle hooks

Without that cover using circles is a breeze... Those eels are so tough you can just run the hook through both lips and enjoy a just about perfect hook up ratio...
That cover there has a diameter greater than an appropriate sized circle hook's gap so it won't work unless you went considerably over sized on the hook to get a broader gap...
