PM Fred Archer he will set you up I'm sure he ruled that roost for years, He is retired now but I,m sure he keeps tabs on what is going on! Aheads up is if you really want to wac em pay the extra money and make sure your boat is ok to make the Fingers bank run some of the boats balk at it!!!PEACE
Good advice about booking early. I would be very leery of booking a book from anyone on the street. These people are called "coyote's" and will lie to you and take your money.
Try http://www.gotcaughtincabo.com I have fished with Todd for 3 years and has top notch boats and captains and competitive rates. Tell him Doug Curtiss referred you.
I've fished with GotCaught once, they were fine. I've used Pisces a lot, cheaper/older boats but good crews. Redrum is pretty good too, as is Marlin Masters. Picante is overpriced and don't catch more fish. I've already got boats booked for the 1st week of October, why wait? if you know you're going, do the research now, pick the best boats and don't leave it to chance at the busiest time of year.
Doing it again this April, you should be okay after Bisbee, they have a fleet of 350 available boats. When you and Deep C get there, stay at the Finesterra
Last two times I was down in Cabo I fished on the Bob Marlin.... a 29' California Cruiser that is short on cosmetics but just fine for fishing... remind you of anything? The gear was a little better than acceptable, but we brought our own anyway.
Good English speaking Captain and the owner is a total wackjob... lots of bustin going on.
He also owns panga we fished pretty regular down there... lots of fun, not lots of $$... Panga Capt is Roberto... if he is not working that day, go when he is....
Yo Ed hows it shakin, watcha mean not pretty I checked them out thanks. Where did you stay we are looking a a few places? The Reo is the leader right now.
