hey all i am making one last stab at it before i get deployed now. I'll be flying up to VA in a week or 2 to run a 24 parker for a long time friend . I need to know if i'd be wasting my time running out of Va beach or no

Mike,

If you're asking about running offshore from VaBch, then right now there doesn't seem to be any productive water within any reasonable range of Rudee or Lynnhaven. We are all watching the sat shots, and waiting for an eddy.

Having said that, the water at the Fingers is in the mid-60's, so some folks may be looking for some BFT out there in the next week or so..

AWW Crap , hey thanks though better to know and trailer than make the damn run and get skunked ...looks like i'll be getting it together to head to OI i'll let you all know what dates mabey we can buddy boat these critters

Water temp is 73.4 at the wx buoy right now. Just checked. Couldn't get a good sat shot though.

i figured that but i was still hopeig that the tuna would turn on so i didn't have to run south....i don't think i'll be headed out looking for bluefins though so if things don't start to pick up guess i'll be flying in and driving south..damn it never is easy is it LOL \
