    yesterday i also had my 1st orca up close encounter. saw some killer whales yesterday . it was an amazing sight. as we were leavin them , one breached behind my bridgepole bait but didnt bite.....

    Thanks for lettin me go along. Pretty cool. Unfortunatly my picture taking was a little off yesterday. Got about 150 pictures of sky, water, and splashes. Will get some to you on the stripey. The blue at the end of the day I got a bill and some splashes but had the slow card in my camera so all I was doing was waiting for the pictures to load while he was lunging on the leader. Woulda been good shots. The Orcas were cool. First time I've seen them that close. Thanks again.

    Howard,

    Did Butch tell you about out killer whale encounter? We had a pack of about 12 come up to the boat ...first one rolled behind short rigger....then one came up and started rubbing on the side of the cockpit....scratching his back...or something...then one came in and chase the teaser...probably had six in our spread kinda checkin everything out...they would take their tails and roll the plugs out of the water but somehow not get hooked....it was incredible...and kinda scary!!!
