The "Reely-Nauti" will be chartering in the Andaman islands for a limited number of days Feb - March 2010.
This is no normal trip, just about every type of fishing is available and can be catered for.
First the location, the Andaman islands are in the bay of Bengal roughly 450 nm from our home port in Phuket Thailand, untouched, full of oceanic life, Volcano's and primitive tribes.
Cobalt blue water, untouched by commercial fishing pressure.
The fishing here is amazing, monster Marlin (Blue & Black), 100lb+ Giant trevally, 200lb Dog Tooth Tuna,YFT Tuna, 100lb+ Sailfish, Wahoo are a pest!, giant grouper,Job fish, Sharks .......... you name it!
Trolling, popper fishing, Jigging, Fly fishing.......... just about any type of fishing you would like to do.
The boat is a 43ft Tiara, fitted with Rupp outriggers, Murray Bros fighting chair, Raymarine Chartplotter / Radar, Furuno Sounder, EPIRB, 8 man life-raft, 500 GPD FCI water maker, 45,000 BTU air-con, 2 freezers, 1 fridge, 130, 80 & 50 Chair rods with Tiagra reels, 30lb Stand-up rods with TLD30 2 speed reels, assorted jigging, popping, spinning & bottom fishing rods...... the list goes on.
We are looking at 2 kinds of trips either 5 or 7 days, 5 days is more focused on jigging, popping and bottom fishing for GT, dog tooth tuna, Grouper, snapper, coral trout etc + some trolling whilst moving destination.
The second trip is a 7 day trip more focused on Marlin & blue water trolling, but can still do all of the above, around a dormant ocean volcano were we have a drop off from 40 to 1000+ meters.
Look at the attached picture and check out the bottom contours, next to one of the islands i have put an "X" next to the Lat & Long at the bottom you will see the depth.
These are live-aboard trips for a maximum of 4 persons.
This is a "Once in a lifetime" kind of trip for the fisherman that wants to experience the ultimate remote destination, if i was to put this in JT's forum i would call it "Asian Madness Part I".
If anyone is up for the challenge PM me for more details, i am willing to do a SFC group trip if we have the right people.
