Well, atleast everyone is safe thanks to the Marli and the other three boats that responded. Sad to see a nice boat sink, but atleast it can be replaced.

Awful! A true boat owner/captain's nightmare.

Thank God no one died. And great congratulations to those who went to her rescue.

We are all brothers when the sea strikes one of us down.

God Bless.

Yes, it was larry's Always late, I was not on the scene, but was 15 miles away and listened to the whole ordeal unfold.

It took a surprisingly long time for the boat to go down, and Larry and his mate patrick worked very hard to rescue the boat, but to no avail. the USCG helo'd a pump out, but declared it useless immediately.

The Marli, American Lady and Press Time were with them the whole time.

Everyon got off the rig ok, safe and sound. Thank goodness.

Boats can be replaced.....

God I hate to see/hear this..Get some Crash Valves intalled if your going to the Canyons.

Depending on circumstances, may or may not have helped in this situation..well worth the minor investment.

What a nightmare. Shame for this to happen, but thankfully all aboard are safe. The boat can be replaced.

It's sad anytime that a boat goes down. Glad every one is ok. God bless those that went to assist.

This is a question...

is it possible(I understand it would depend on where the breach is)to put a line on the pulpit and pull it forward to try to save it? I have done it on a center console and just wondered so I dont try something stupid in the future

Mike

I guess that would be possible but that is a lot of weight in tow. I'd have a sharp knife handy if you start going backwards.
