For all my florida boys the bite was on today

Fish Yesterday and today jupter/palm beach. wind was blowing out of the East North East both days with the seas on sat 3 to 5 and today 4 to 6 kite fishing was good .. started out sat with a few dolphin . a couple bite offs of King fish ad miss a sail . Sunday we started out with a nice Dolphin 25 lbs which we fought throught a nasty RAIN storm . get a few kings in the after noon then miss our first Sail a lil after noon . started to get nasty we were about to bring our kite in and call it a day when i saw the long bait start to get nervous Droped back and set the hook fight was on!! i handed the rod off to Jimbo and he cought his first sail..

Boats back down in FL ill be posting a lot of reports from Jupter down to the Keys ...

Amelia Island. Its just above Jacksonville. The river at the North end of the Island (St Marys river, Cumberland Sound) seperates us from Georgia. There is also a Nuc sub base there, Kingsbay.

Been here 17 years now. Love it here, but I am itching to get to BlueWater closer. I am tired of 2-3 hour runs offshore to catch bluewater critters.

We do get a decent Sailfish bite out of St Auggie. They often catch 5-6 a day down there when the bite starts mid Sept through late Oct. Never fished specifically for sails, but hear about it all the time. We have a great Wahoo fishery up here. Starts about now (usually first full or dark moon in Nov gets em started, and they bite until April in numbers.) Thats my bluewater species of choice (well, due to the fact that YFT are almost non existant this side of the stream, and the man in the Blue suit is a lucky catch for the most part, and not specifically targetable)

Ya thats like the run up Nort for us we gotta run 30 to 80-100 miles to see bule water. but i am spoiled fishing down here off palm beach catching sails , dolphin wahoo , black fins , kingfish just right off the beach gotta love it thow !

Alreight jarred keep in touch man . The wahoo bite has been good down south here i just havent came across any yet !

I was down for the Boat show and some re-connecting caught some dolphin and sails on the kites 90-150 ft on the blend. Road around in 600' for too long it looked soooo good...no-one home though. Kinda sporty in a center console!

Betwen the weather report and the wind blowing at Jupiter inlet on Sat and Sun we opted for surfing

at least it was Sunny and HOT
