ALBIES ANYONE?

Just wondering if ANYONE has caught or heard of any longfins being caught, anywhere. If so, where.

We seem to be an exception to the overall poor tuna bite. We've had a season better than any in the past 10 years. Every single bite we've had and fish we've caught has been in the deep, nothing on or even near the edge. One of our trips we had over 20 YF, all over 70lbs and a bigeye, again all in the deep and in green, 73 degree water. Hopefully this weather will shake things up for everyone.
I guess we've been more lucky than anything reading all of these shitty reports.

I have really noticed to my surprise that all of he longfin i have seen in the past several years have been on the chunk..

If you check in with a lot of the party boats you will see that for some reason they really attract the longfin! it is strange and i dont quite understand it but they do.. just one of those things


I remember them being the bulk of the trolling spread.. cover ups all the time and it was easy! now your right..

The smaller yellows under 40lbs are all inside and the bigger ones are all in the deep but i just havent had the time to fish em other than the first trip but stayed inside on smaller fish to have some fun and put meat in the box..

I am going to say they are not going to be around until after september 1st..
