    Alaska Lodge Recommendations

Two of my crew want to fish Alaska in late June for large halibut, salmon, and salmon sharks. Has anyone on this Board fished there personally that can provide recommendations? I have been told that you really can't go wrong up there since there are so many fish, but I'd prefer to get first hand accounts with lodge and captain's names.

    Many thanks!

    Come on JT,

It is way too cold up here for goats...

There are lots of sheep though.....bahhhhhhhh....

See you, Steve and the rest of your crew at Fred Hall Long Beach

Oh yea, the fishing....I am almost full for the summer. I would be happy to point you in the right direction as far as a good lodge.I only have one three day fishing time open for June and my July is full.

Just like everywhere else on the planet, there is a wide range of skill levels amoung guides and the timing in each area can be critical to your success fishing. Especially if you are looking for quality fish, a knowlegable guide, and great equipment.

If you want me to do that, shoot me an email from my website and I will point you in the right direction.
