    it really tastes like complete dirt and it is just outright nasty. Keep away! take yourself to the fish market and get something better or a thick ribeye!

    They have a few uses we used to use them when fishing bottom longlines for grouper and snapper. They work well as shark bait and the small ones live drive large blacktips nuts. the little pups also are a snack for bigger cobia. And if all else fails trow the chunks in the crab pots.

    In Va their was a VIMS research project that needed them for ongoing research. Not sure about now but either way there is a few uses for ya.

    I actually set up my old youth parker bow for that but I left it up in OC for the summer because I wasn't sure I would be able to get out after them.



    I went out with OCtuna again on thursday and released around 18 or so.



    Thanks for the tips guys. I really thought these were good to eat as well, I guess not.
