    Smile After Tsunami Fish

Hadn't fished much so far in 2011, but after the tsunami passed we decided to see if we could find some fish that would bite. Shortly after dropping a full spread of Archer bars into the wake, we took our first hit. This mahi hit an Archer MeatBall bar; we got it aboard, bloodied the decks, and the pressure was off.

The ocean was full of life, with humpback whales and birds everywhere and lots of flying fish skittering away from the boat. This humpback gave us a friendly wave.

And the fish kept hitting the Archer bars. This mahi is about to come aboard for a ride to dinner after hitting an Archer JT Special RuckusRaiser.

Good day - lots of action (eight strikes, with five mahi and a YFT accepting invitations to dinner), nice water, everyone got home safely, and the crew was happy!

    Aloha, tight lines to all.

WAYTAGO Courtland! As you so often do, another great catch on the SuperBars! Glad to see that the Tsunami didn't do a great deal of damage over there in hula land. Post a shot of a SuperBar Ahi or two, would you please?

Just another typical day in paradise, KAISER. We had enough fish for several meals: sashimi, then with a furukake crust, then with seasoned flour...all yummy!

Innovator - Not to make light of the damage (several million $ worth) the tsunami caused to some of our harbors, but those of us with trailer boats were obviously unaffected. Were a good fisherman like you in Hawaii, the rest of us would have a harder time catching any.

Thanks for the kind words, Captain Fred, and thanks for making your fish raising bars available to everyone who wants one. Here's a photo of a couple buddies with an ahi caught last season using one of your JT Special RuckusRaisers:

We're looking forward to more this coming season.

    Aloha to all.
