Also if anyone down here has a good connection with the coast guard or sea tow please let me know. Would love to get a vhf feed running on this but word is they are fishing pretty far away.

I have set up a VHF but I have no way of testing it.
Just spoke to Salt Weapon and they were 14 miles loud and clear.

Seatow is run by Stuart Wescott out of Manteo, just around the corner from Pirates Cove, he also runs a Dolphin watching boat called Capt. Johnny and stays on channel 7 on the vhf if you need to reach him.

You can reach me on channel 19 and I am docked on "A" dock right behind the pavilion if I can help you.
