Lets see here... Where to begin? There is the "War at the shore" Ocean Viking showdown going on... 68 of the hottest quickest sleds in the Atlantic going at it... Then in the midst of it, there are two teams entirely made up of Sportfishermen.coms most recoginizable, loveable, charachters....
Now there are debates about whos best and some well versed rivalries on these hallowed forums. Imagine not one but two dream teams our very best locking horns, then...... No Admin to report in depth the details of the knockem down drag out nose bloodying slugfest about to get good.

Walking out on the potential powderkeg of the century after the first round to go some place to go snap some shots of oversized football macks, would be like Howard Cosell walking out of Ali / Fraser,,, It would be like walking out of a world series game seven to go watch a recital on the mating habits of the babylonian hissing cockroach... It would be like walking out of the Daytona 500 when all your favorites are leading at less than the half way point...

When you have the Box and Whitey going one on one with Gradywhite 273 and Deep C in a top shelf shootout... thats epic... Sure enough the end results were past description... Both teams made SFC proud ... The slug fest ending up with the most awesome ending imaginable and Admin's nowhere to be found...

Skip Ocean or Viking for a moment... SFC's top two teams swepth the show! Whitey and the Box took top honors for the white marlin category! The Grady/ Deep squad rocked the house with: Junior Angler- First Place; Lady Angler- First Place; Overall top boat- FIRST PLACE!

But no Admin... I'm gonna get some sleep now but will give a full report in the morn! Since admin wasn't there to finish the job.

Let me say this, as much as i wished John was there to enjoy the victories both us and whitey and box had, I respect the guy even more, yes he could have stayed around, stayed in his winnie rode on the viking on saturday. Made an easy time for himself, but he went to oc to provide everyone with more coverage. this guy works his butt off for us,

Wow I read this and thought to myself what kind of asshole would walk out on fishing on a 61 enclosed bridge Viking with a couple friends on board to go cover a tuna tournament.

Umm then I really thought about it and the guy you are speaking of probably is a good guy and does not think about him and what he wants to do, he probably thinks about his company and the members of the community and what they would want.

I’m sure he would have rather slept in a nice bed rather then in his pick up truck at sunset marina but then again who knows.

I have really learned a lot about people over the last few years and one thing I have found to have distaste for are people who think everything is about them. Fact is in life and in business nothing is usually about yourself it’s about the people you surround yourself with. I have now fished with you in a shark tournament and in a billfish tournament I have read email after email about you and your ways. But I never judge a book by hear say I like to find out everything on my own. Witch I have completed this incomplete mission and will move on from hear and continue to do what I love to do and that is run a website for the members and sponsors of this site.

One day I hope you can understand this.

i'm kinda in the same boat as shoe......deep adds a great deal to this site. he's one of the few really heavy hitters here that everyone seems to enjoy hearing from. you do a tremendous job running this site, keeping it current, fair and first class. everyone knows that. i know he he was just busting your clams....
