    975 lb KONA BLUE

I received an email from Capt. Chuck Wigzell owner/operater of the sportfisher Hooked Up out of Kona,Hawaii. The fish was caught Tuesday November 26th on a Joe Yee Super Plunger. Angling time was 40 minutes....30 minutes to boat the fish.
Got to love the fact that Kona always has big girls swimming those water year round. Congrats to all. 975 lb KONA BLUE-hooked_up_crew.jpg

Here is a picture of the Hooked Up which appeared on the cover of Western Outdoors magazine in August 2008. If you look above the wireman you will see the lure which caught the 975 lb Blue last Tuesday.

That is a great photo. That's what lurefishing for blue marlin is all about.

its not for the money, its about honor and pride. Plus more than half the time the fish are totally fisted away.
