9 MARLIN WEIGHED IN FIRST DAY OF BISBEES!!

Yesterday, Oct 20, saw 9 Marlin weighed on the first day of Bisbees Black & Blue down in Cabo San Lucas.

(3) C-BANDIT 549 Lbs
(4) KW'S KARMA 431 Lbs
(5) SUPER NATURAL 431 Lbs
(6) TIGER SPIRIT 427 Lbs
(7) CALIENTE 397 Lbs
(8) FISHERMAN 351 Lbs
(9) DOGHOUSE 310 Lbs

It's been a long time since Cabo was as hot as it is right now. Has there ever been this many Marlin make weight in the Tournament before? Just Curious.

Last night the team on the GREAT ESCAPE battled a large Blue for over 5 hours. When they finally boated the fish, they raced back to the Marina to get the Marlin weighed before the scales officially closed. Unfortunately, they were 9 minutes late getting into the Harbor and were, therefore, disqualified. The Blue would have been in first place by over 200 Lbs. It tipped the scales right at 800. See photo below.

The same boat weighed a 430 Blue Marlin today.

Is the radio transmission from tournament control available to hear on line somewhere? thank you

There is no radio transmission, but the website does have a live video feed from one of the boats and from the weigh station. All hook ups are also reported as they occur. In addition, it has GPS tracking of the boats, which is pretty cool. www.bisbees.com

Dream Weaver had the top fish on day 2 with a 484 Black. 3 other Marlin were weighed. Here is the list after 2 days.
