9/15 Tea Cup report

Fished the 30 line at the teacup and north towards the trunk. A little breezy in the morning but not bad. Absolutely beautiful day in the afternoon. Slow day fishing. Ended up with 3 mahi. There was a pretty big weed line that picked one mahi on the troll. No tuna for us. We heard reports on the radio of one here and there as people were picked at them. Flat calm seas for a nice ride back.

We were on the line at the tea cup as well. We cut through the fleet about mid day, there had to be 30 boats out there....our boat is Port-a-bella out of lewes.... as you said, slow fishing. We put two 34'' yft in the box, and a handful of nice skipjack to be used for striper bait....caught our fish 5 miles apart and hammered both spots hard.... we caught two lost fish, and just stared at great looking water, bait, and birds... No fish tho????!

Nice job on the mahis, we didn't see any.

We too saw several schools of bait and we worked the area to no avail...

We passed by you at one point trolling. We were on the 33' Grady. We went out of IR

Nice work on the YFT
