Made a run to the deep aboard the Intuition on Sunday and left the Canyons far behind looking for some bills. I can't give any specifics on locale, as we got the info from a friend who is fishing the WMO( good luck buddy )
All I can say is I cant believe it was as nasty on the beach as everyone's been telling me It was absolutely gorgeous out there, just a little wave action. There was life everywhere more pods of Porpoise and Pilot whales then I have ever seen and one one huge FinBack or Humpback whale The water was Gin Blue and very clear. We raised and released our first White at 10:10am, and then found another right before noon. It felt good getting to bill some whites again The two fish bit very light, almost lethargicly and didn't really act like whites until a bit into the fight. Around 2pm we had another Whitey blitz the teaser, ALL LIT UP, but sadly we had a problem with teaser reel and we had a bi*** of a time clearing it, he ended up next to the boat and got ahead of the angler trying to draw him, when he peeled of and smacked the short left, but we missed him
So, two strange and tough bites caught and one picture perfect white missed. A very good day on the water. Sorry, no pics this time, but I'm a dummy and forgot to grab the camera bag when I ran out the dooor
Good luck to everybody this week in the WMO

Nice job Chuck. Glad see you can sneak out every now and then. I know you guys work hard in that shop and you do not get out nearly as much as you would like.

Same for us on Saturday. Rough on the beach, then a couple miles of downright uncomfortable, then flat as road in the current.

    All of them
Good job Chuck. We managed to hang on to our dredge this time and it paid dividends. Ended up 4 for 4 on whites. We caught 3 on Saturday and one Sunday morning before we left to come in. It was bumpy for us up North Saturday but it laid down overnight. The overnight tuna fishing in the Lindy was incredible and we caught them without even working hard. 1 for 2 on swords as well. First one was about 80# and we kept him for the table. The other was bigger and he broke off when he got hung on the rudder as we were leadering him half asleep.....

    Sorry buddy no foo-foo
The first one came up on a squid and got hooked on small split bill. Second, hit a small split in the left long. Third on a moldcraft chain.
