Well the alarm went of at 8:15pm. I didnt roll out of bed until 8:45. Checked a couple messages on here from some guys down in Valhalla and ran up to the office to check the current.
Looked promising. 2 knots on the bow, wind of the port quarter. Now I just woke up mind you and I only had about an hour to fish before work. So the starboard bow was the place to start... and finish. Yes there are tons of yellowfin but no I did not have the time or patience to kill one or more of those tonite.
The starboard bow, just forward of D thruster is sitting in about 6782.7 ft if anyone really thinks that sort of information matters rite now. First cast and we are tight.
Of the next 28 casts I made over the course of 48min. I only missed on 4. No gaff shots tonite, the hand winch lifted them straight out of the water and 60ft up to the bow with ease.
Now its time for breakfast and head to the office.
