7/26 Exumas Schoolie Yellowfin, Mahi Video

There is only one way to describe the fishing for yellowfin tuna near Royal Plantation Island in Exuma- non stop action! We fished with resort owner Adam Stewart and his crew aboard Stew Fish, a 40 ft cabo rigged for serious offshore fishing. After making the hour run out to the Autec Buoy, we quickly boated enough yellowfin tuna to keep us well fed for the rest of the trip and we even had some to bring back to the states with us. What these yellowfin lacked in size they made up for in quantity! A few nice sized dolphin decided to crash our party as well on the first day only a couple miles from the dock. This is the place to go for an offshore fishing adventure...everything was taken on the troll.Here is the link to the video:

this was an insaine trip and i was soooo fortunate to get to go due to a late cancelation! I have never been to the exumas and it is by far one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The treatment that you get at royal plantation is second to none! To all of the ballers out there; you should seriously consider where your next family, business or sportfishing destination is going to be. The bonefish surrounding the flats of this island is just plain crazy!! My first day i was able to hook my first fish on the fly! Later that same day we were covered in schoolie YFT and slammer do-do's!!
