7/22 report Jigging BFT Bluewater Sportfishing

Had Travis and his crew out for a Jig only trip. The trip was perfect, once on the fish we had steady action all day with 100 pounders and one that was a demon fish. Anyway I saw some things with these jigs that blew my mind that I will talk about later, Travis and his people have pics all mine are in unreadable format. I need a new card so I dont have any pics to upload.
I will add more to this later today as I gota go.

I think we went landed 8 fish with around 20 hits. Butterfly jigging smoked yo yo jigging to the point of it not being funny. I have some kinda jinx going on I think I need to talk to someone . Capt Kobey did a great job handling the boat and getting us on the fish! Here are a couple more pics of Jim's first tuna and a release on a jig

Kobey
Thanks for the great trip. You are the man when it comes to running the boat right!! The fish are there and still have no trouble eating a jig presented properly.
I emailed you more pics for when you go to put up your report. Thanks and hopefully things will work out for the 31st.

A note for people thinking about booking Kobey.......DO IT. He is very hard working and not burned out. I felt like I was fishing with him for years as we were on the same page about many things. We both fish the same, share ideas, and want to improve on every trip. He also really caters to his charter.

This was my first tuna trip so I am by no means an expert. I can say I had a great time and it exceeded my expectations for bites and hookups. Our captain kept us on fish and the guys knew how to jig 'em. By the end of the trip I was hurting but can't wait til next time. Thanks guys for a great trip and one I will always remember.
