7 for 12 YFT, Mahi & 2 Whites Raised

I had my two boys, Mike & Jim out today. We started on the 30 line looking for some BFT. After an hour of zig zagging I got a call from "PLayMaker". He says get those lines in and push off outside as he was already 7 for 9 on 60 lb class YFT

So off we went lines in 40 minutes later in the deep.

We had a run off and missed the had a White hooked on the Sterling Tackle Pink Tiger feather chain After a few jumps it got off, but man what a sight. Then we finally get a good run off. Mike does battle and 15 minutes later a Fat 60 lb YFT hits the deck. Lines back in and I hook up. Another 60+ YFT hits the deck. My boys are going wild and then it happened, we got covered up 5 Lines go off and nowe the chinese fire drill. 1 broke off, the cedar plug hit came un buttoned, 1 more went slack in the may lay, but Jim and Tyler were hooked up. We got Jim's in the boat 1st then 20 minutes later Ty get's his first legal YFT, a Fat 50 pounder We kept working the area, came tight on another White on a pink & white Islander w/ meat. We lost him after he got tangled in the spreader bar. Then we nailed 2 more YFt. Then Owen gets a Nice 12 Bull Mahi. Owen still needed to get his Tuna, so I drop back the Sterling Tackle Zucchini squid bar, 20 seconds later BAM, fish on. Owen fought it like a champ, and we boated his first ever 30 lb YFT. Not bad for an 8 year old.

So we finished the day with 7 YFT from 30 65 pound range, 1 Bull Mahi, and raised 2 Whites. I have to give Credit where Credit is due" PlayMaker Scotty" is a class Act He had the YFT bite all to himself and let us in on the bite.

Owen and Tyler you guys ROCK. Guy's let me tell you something I fished with these boys and they shopped at my store when I owned it. You will be hard pressed to find two better behaved young men. I'm proud of them. Our north east canyon runs are early morning and long days and they roll with it.
