    Nice Work!
Flyer, poon then dragged for an hour when we re-set the drift.

Then the crew crossed their fingers hoping not to have to pay for a lot of damage to the cockpit if the fish still went nuts. However, she was dead before being dragged through the door and she fit nicely in our large indeck fishbox - infact we could have put another 200 pounder in there with her so she was contained.

Thanks for all the positive comments .. it was nice to see a nicer class of mako two nights in a row (we had a slightly larger one in the slick the night before but couldnt get it to eat .. did catch two 120/130 lb fish) ... this was our first bite of the night and came around 10pm about one hour into the drift .. . she ate a mackeral 100 feet behing the boat on one of the new mono circle hook rigs I have been playing with. Basil from BHP helped me with the rigging and it has been working well so far with two makos and some blue sharks landed in two nights of fishing ... she jumped once during the 30-40 minute fight (very close to the boat) and again after we got the flyer in her ... up on the troll in the morning , we had the yellowfin thick but had a hard time finding keeper fish .. we eventually trolled with spinning gear on the flat lines to make things interesting .. looks like a few days off with weather then back at it

    Thanks

Canyon Runner crew, Thanks for the great trip. It was great to fish with such a seasoned crew that worked so well together. The results are proof enough that you guys are a top shelf outfit. Thanks again, The Kramer Boys
