I will make it short this time. Went to the Lindy caught 14 small yellowfin with only 2 keepers. It seems as though most people were in the same boat as us except for a few bigger fish caught. Around 12:30 we decided to head inshore to the lobster claw in search of bluefin. We marked tons of bait but only caught 4 bluefish.
Forgot to add we also caught 2 gaffer mahi at the lindy.
jeremy, i had the Reel Deal out in the Lindy the morning before you guys were there...I hit you up on 68, 71, and 72 to see if you were around but i guess i was one day late. We had 47 yellowfin and probably double that in skippies. Lots of porpoise, two whales, great water. Roffers report was right on the money, we found the break about 6 miles from the tip, caught our first fish within 2 minutes, hit the MOB and circled it the entire day. Like you said, almost all small fish. We kept some nice skippies, and only 4 yellowfin around 30lb class. We had a shitty ride out and had to run far to the south to stay in the trough. Coming back was a dream and a half tho. Hit me up next time you are going dude. By the way These fish were hitting everything, but i cut one open and found handfuls of 3'' squid, so the majority of the day we ran a lot of small squidbars, chains, and some small bally on white and blue skirts.
