53#/52" Striped Bass: DELAWARE BAY

Set out for a day of chunking bunker in the lower bay saturday 11/7, had a great day catching 3 bass early up to 22#, we made a few wiggles and missed a run off on a whole bunker that was certainly a big cow, after an hour of nothing we got the bite we were looking for and 15 minutes later I put a 53#, 52" striped bass in the boat. My biggest to date!

Really great catch bud you sure that fish is only 53lb??
Unless you are only 4foot tall I would give you at least 65lb.

I miss catching those big stripers at Oregon Inlet, maybe this year will be cold enough to push them back down here. That is a fish anyone woulld be proud of. Congrats!
