The Bottom Line lost a blue marlin this morning after a brief fight. The fish was hooked at 10:59 and came un-buttoned at 11:14 a.m.
Spartacus, Team #27 fought an unidentified fish for nearly two hours. Angler Bob Walker finally landed a nice yellowfin tuna at 11:18. Walker and his team are fishing grid G-4, over the Gordo Bank in the Sea of Cortez. This area is notorious for producing big tuna. The target of the Black & Blue is strictly marlin, however.
So far this morning, three blue marlin have been hooked (two releases and one lost), along with 3 striped marlin and 1 sailfish.
