One hour left in the 29th Annual Bisbee's B&B.
At this time we have two blue marlin boated and inbound to the weigh scales. The first expected to arrive is aboard Extraction. It should be clearing the Cabo harbor in the next few minutes.
The second boat is the Dulce Vida. ETA on it is within the next hour.
Lines must be out at 1400, unless a hookup is called in beforehand. The scales will close at 1700.
Extraction... that's my friend Tom Lansing and crew..... sure would be nice to see a friend take the big check! GO TOM!!!
another fish non qualifying fish 245lbs
Was the shorty on Extraction?
Extraction got on the board when the 10 Brothers Fishing Team from Chicago weighed a qualifying blue marlin minutes ago. Angler Anthony Boratto caught the biggest fish of his life when he landed his 305-pounder after a 40 minute fight. 10 Brothers is a veteran Bisbee team.
The other fish weighed within the last half-hour did not qualify. Dulce Vida brought the blue marlin to the scales, but it did not meet the minimum weight of 300 pounds.
Dulce Vida skipper Larry Uvalei of Cabo said fishing conditions were nearly perfect. The water temperatures were in the mid-80-degree range, with light winds and only a slight sea swell. He said there was no bait around, but they did spot one whale on the surface.
No more fish coming to the scales, correct?
