Surely not the first time you've seen a white's mouth wrapped shut on the way to the scales. Ever seen a gaff hole plugged up? This is big money and it can come down to half a pound meaning a lot of cash or no cash. If you caught a white and it was the first day of the tourney are you saying you wouldn't grease it? Suppose you caught a little bigger one after that? You gonna let him go? Suppose you caught a third one even bigger than the first two? They are legal to keep...I would gaff em up. Capt Say had some decent advice...Fillet the small one maybe if you knew 100 percent it was not a contender for one of the top three slots. Suppose those boys had rolled in and their three fish were the top three slots? At the time they hooked and killed em NOONE was on the board. Later in the tourney, with numbers already up, the same group may have let them go. Who knows? I would have greased those pointy rascals were I in their shoes. The coverage has been incredible ADMIN and crew. The live webcam is a notch above any I have ever seen. Looking forward to today's weigh ins. Holwachagot |

LOL
Would think that any attempt to tamper with the harvest in anyway would DQ it .... ? But I dunno for sure ..every tourney has Special rules that govern stuff like this, within IGFA rules it's a no-no i believe, but i don't support some practices that IGFA adheard by anyhoo , so i'm a bad one to answer this one ![]() CatchemUp on Legends BTW: Those of you who missed out on the first batch ![]() Finally have a new batch of Pipers and Krakatoa's for sale at Alltackle and Meltons or email at jay@legendlures.com |
