Thanks guys but still a little confused on the bridle set up

Going to put some of those wire pin rigs together but not sure how the bridle thing works with the heavy cigar weights. We never targeted wahoo untill last year and want to learn as much about them as possible as they are around in our area during August and Sept. We are still fishing inshore for bluefin right now but getting a fair amount of wahoo bite offs with Ilander-ballyhoo combo's meant for bluefin inshore between 23-32 miles off Cape May. When ever we get some offshore storms like last year we will get massive weed lines around 40-100 fathoms and will start both yellowfin and wahoo trollling along the week lines which usually have a warm and cold side to them and found wahoo pretty thick on both sides of the weed lines. Presently I have not seen any and concentrating inshore on the bluefin with both Kings and Wahoo present. I thank every one for their help and appreciate any additional information on the bridle set up

I have never seen the wire pull out but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

I think with all that stuff crammed inside the crimp, 2 pieces of mono and 2 pieces of wire, it helps hold everything in place unlike if you tried to crimp just 2 pieces of wire together. If you're using 80lb leader, and then you add the wire, there shouldn't be much room left before you actually crimp it.

Nice one to bring back up...I need to rig some stuff like this due to the Wahoos showing in good numbers!

Need to get to Skipjack (my fishin' bud) to show me first hand
