Thanks Todd, did you guys get into teh Tuna, wahoo and dorado as well tehre as im curious to know since I heard reports that the long range tuna boats were getting some sized tuna out there. Where did you guys make your bait, inside or out on the banks. How many jig fish did you guys get.
Indeed this pack is moving down towards Cabo, what a volume of fish though.

We didn't find many tuna and really didn't spend much time looking for them. We did pick up some of the little football models however. We made bait each night while on the hook. The stuff from Santa Maria was much stronger than the stuff we picked up at Belcher's. We did catch a few on jigs but mostly with pitching the baits to tailers. On the trip home we went to the Thetis Bank and caught some nice Wahoos as well. If fishing near Cabo, you better have a good supply of hooks for the next month is my prediction!

Todd, thanks for the reply. Copy that on the bait, we brought bait down from Dana and it was strong all the way each time I have been down and made macs at the high spots and on the anchor at night.

Pardon me, if I don't believe it. You're saying that in four hours fishing time, your crew boated and released 100 striped marlin? Unbelieveable - that's 25 fish an hour.
