I've been over there twice now, it is unreal how good the fishing can get during the black marlin season. We saw our share of giants.
not to start a conspiracy theory but where is the leader. at this position the boat is probably backing down over the back end of the fish and the leader should be coming up back to the side or up towards the gaff man.

anyway nice fish hope to see her in costa rica this year.
hooked one last year on my black marlin reef, it never stopped for 2 hrs swimming straight out to sea. it didnt take line or jump, it just swam and swam like it didnt care, with 40+lbs of pressure on an 80. we broke it off for lack of daylight. good to know the longliners havent killed all the big ones.
