1324 Black Marlin for "New Moon" - Australia

I have not seen this posted anywhere except on a couple Australian boards. Very impressive catch for the "New Moon"

The Black Marlin record that still holds from 1953 was 1560 lbs. That could fall in Austrailia soon ,only a few more years and that fish could have been it.

I am curious how the measurements for this fish compare to Mr. Glassell's. Rumors have flown around for years that the Cabo Blanco scales may have been off a little. This latest fish is a beast. Congrats to the crew of the New Moon on a fish of a lifetime.
