Thanks heaps for the kind words about the fish it was a fish of a lifetime. The fish took 12 minutes to get on the leader and about 20 min to be subdued on the gaffs, I have some awsome footage of the fish jumping on the gaffs i will try and put on youtube if i can work out how. The short measrement of the fish was 12 '"11 with a girth of 82.5inches and the fish was caught off houston light. All in all we had a pretty good season catching 21 fish in 23 days onboard new moon including 2 over a 1000 and one 900 which was pretty good considering the season was a bit slow... Can't wait till next season.
