I posted this in reel maintenence and tackle questions but got nowhere with it. Can somebody help a brother out?

I was thinking about spooling up with some of that on sale Power Pro 1,500 yard spools they got here. Looks like just 40lb is left. 40# has the diameter of 10lb mono and the reel is rated for 840 yards of 12lb. How much 40#PP should I pack on and what should my mono topshot be (30#Momoi or Suffix I am guessing)? I would like to be able to handle moderate sized wahoo on this rig, I have 2 identical ones both on all roller International rods.
