12/8 No TUNA on the TAXI

[Tuna Taxi]

Very slow day today, like most everyone else. Lines in at 5:45 outside the sea buoy, and trolled all over the place til about 1:00 without a sniff. Slick calm, nice & warm, and several hundred of our closest friends looking for fish. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Marty & the Bluewater Lady had a fish on but lost it to equip failure. They found the spot and found the fish, hope they get a replacement tomorrow.

We're gonna hit it again in the morning, and put in a short day before headin' back to the ranch. Today was a good time fun-fishing with Glenn W and Bryan (BTH284) workin the pit like champs trying to buy a bite. I'll let Bryan tell about his knot-tying prowess....sometime after he buys a new planer .

Hope tomorrow is a better day.
