We fished way out deep south of the Norfolk Canyon (1200-1300 fathoms) and ended up with 15 nice Gaffers. A bit south of the Poorman's but the water looks to be of the same type and feed from the stream

Bert, i heard this morning from a guy that went to poormans this past weekend and he caught 4 nice gaffers, another boat released 26' yft and killed a 36'' yft. i heard of reports of bluefins swimming thru baits and 1 killed at hambone. good number of sharks around, threshers, makos(a few), blues and all the bluefish you want. Don't for get your deep drop rigs for some tiles if you go.
