Ran the 31' from Key Largo to Palm Beach this morn... Figured I report what I saw along the way if anyone cares.
Bait was thick off Elliot Key...
Next flurry of life was just south of Govt Cut.
Current from Lauderdale to north of Hillsboro was backward running south at about.8 knot. Just north of Boca Raton was a little activity. I could see flyers in about 80' getting worked and what appeared to be kings in maybe 70 feet.
South of Boynton about a mile to near the cut in shallow about 40' was flyers and some fairly big busts on em.
Deep between the pier and Bath and Tennis there was a lot of activity and sails working both deep and shallow...
From the Breakers to PBI there was life all over. A knot of current in as shallow as 35'... I heard guys off the condos doing pretty well...
Back when I bought my Grady many moons ago, it didn't have a trailer, so I drove it up the intercoastal from Wilmington to Morehead. That was an awesome ride. It wild how you see more bait here, less bait there. I saw a tarpon jump and a bunch of other cool stuff.
Without a doubt the baitiest place was Bouge Inlet, hands down.
