100 Fathom Fishing Club - February meeting

This is for those 100 Fathom Fishing Club members who are too lazy to read their emails.

The 100FFC is going to have a meeting early next month. It is tentatively scheduled for Saturday Feb 9th, North Hutchinson Island (near Ft Pierce FL), starts mid-afternoon thru mid-evening. As things firm up we'll email you. We felt that a weekend mid-afternoon casual format would allow more 100FFC members to attend than the usual weeknight meetings do.

One of the topics will be daytime swordfishing. Tackle and rigs will be on hand for you to look at and get ideas. Also, Michelle Sedge of the RFA Florida chapter is scheduled to be on hand. Figure on 1/3 fishing BS, 1/3 eating & beerdrinking , 1/3 fisheries issues (for example, the latest skrew job that SAFMC's chairman George Geiger & NMFS's Hogarth stuck us with).

Please RSVP via my email address if you will be attending or not and if so, how many family & guests you will be bringing.

UPDATE:
The meeting is definitely ON for next Saturday Feb 9th, 3pm to about 8pm.

The location has changed due to Poolman's HOA torpedoing his request. But we have an alternate choice of Palm City, Hobe Sound or Palm Beach Gardens. The final choice will be firmed up tomorrow and I will email the members with the address.

At this point, we have Michelle Sedge of RFA-National scheduled to make an appearance. Several fishing-related manufacturers are tentatively scheduled too.
