a 15 day trip on one boat was like 2.5k was super sweet looking too. id love to do that.. would be insane.
id have to buy another big rod / reel.. iuno what id get.. it would need to be a good stand up rod. id check out to see what i could rent from them.
prlly a tiagra 50wlrs with spectra i guess.. and a standup rod. iuno but that is a dream of mine, as long as i keep doing good in school , ill be able to go on that.
Trip is on Independence. Excel is full. All of the boats in the fleet seem to be top notch. Independence is one of the newest and biggest.
This trip is limited load only 24 angler, and is the 2nd trip following thanksgiving.

The preferred setup is avet ex50 sds filled with 130 jb hollow spectra and short topshot 100-150# mono, and whatever rod you like. I like composites and will be taking one or two seeker 6463xxxh or calstar 760h.
You also need 40, 50, and 60# gear for wahoo, yellowtail, and smaller yft.
The cow fishing is pretty much all live baits. Sardines and macs. None of that trolling stuff.
