It turned out well but I don't know that it was worth missing 3 swords, 34 pound dolphin, and a white good Lines out 530 am and went 2/2 on t&a

Fishing all night must be tough, but swordfishes are quite the reward! Pretty work Andy and crew.

QUOTE=whitey;423320]We left Cape May around 5:30AM on saturday and ran down to the tip of the Washington. We put the lines in at 8:30 and within the first 5 minutes we had something bite off our planer. The day troll was very slow for us and we ended up catching a 36 pound dolphin and managed to catch 1 white marlin on the west wall just as the sun was going down.

We set up for the night on the east notch and were surrounded by squids right away. They were eating the live squids right off our hooks. Durring the night we managed to keep a few baits down long enough to release a 200 lb hammerhead and went 3 for 4 on swordfish. We took a 58 inch fish to eat and released the other 2.

On sunday morning we got up on the troll and had a double header wahoo bite right away but 1 cut us off on mono and the other pulled the hook after a few minutes. We got everything back in the water and within 5 minutes we caught a 30 pound yellowfin. Once again we got set up and no sooner we were hooked up with another wahoo which we were able to boat. The rest of the morning was uneventfull so we pulled the lines in at 9:30 and ran home.[/quote]

Hey Andy,

I was running the GUIDED DISCOVERY (54 Ocean) and was trolling next to you sunday morning, you had a real nice night!!! We ended up with releasing 3 whites and jumped off 2 , two swords, two big wahoos one was pushing 70lbs, and a ton of dophins!! one around 45lbs. I was the one who called some of the boats into the pack of green devils!!!!

remember, it was October 5th!!!!!

Thank you Dan (Badger) for the Bayou Blackening Spice!! it tasted great on the Wahoo steaks!!!
