    From another site...

    From another site....

As of this evening, from the dock @ Star Island...

    BIG MAKO: #241
    BIGGEST SHARK: #298 Twesher
    BIG BLUE: #262

There was also a #436 shark originally classified as a Tiger that was not eligible to qualify. Lots of speculation surrounding what exactly it was and why it did not qualify so I won't comment on it...

We landed 26 blue sharks to 200lbs today. Twenty six shark to the boat & released. Need #250 or better to qualify a blue.

Non stop action for us but not the right bite...

From what I understand the boat was 2 mins from the committee boat and was DQ'ed. I am unsure the position of both boats.

A 1000lb would of been nice, but the 436 is just as nice!

Congrats guys. Hope it all works out! Round 2 tmrw go get'em!

    Sorry Brian Thanks for searching!

It seems that it was a 400 pound tiger, which is protected and not eligible.

    My boo-boo.
And I'm glad I was wrong. I was imagining all the BS we'd here from the shark huggers about the bloodthirsty shark murderers killing an endangered species.
