09/03/05 Overnight in the Lindenkol

We went over night in the Lindenkohl last night what a mistake. It blew like 25 to 30 all night. We started just inshore of the 100 fathom tip in about 80 fathoms. We had tons of bait around the boat all night. Our bites came around 2 am just as we drifted across the 100 fathom tip. All our bites were on live squid and at 80 feet. We caught 5 and had 7 bites. The fish were small, one we had to throw back. The rest were 30lbs and one like 50. It seemed like the bigger fish were below the little ones from the reports I got from boats that has some 80lb fish. Good luck I hope it lays down.

Good Job Bobby. We were out their also and had a handful of yellowfins and a few dolphin. Same size on the yellows. Sure did start howling around 2:00 huh. Sounds like it was tough getting a bite.
