04/22 Surf Fishing Report

A friend of mine from school is here visiting his family and we went to Cumbuco Beach, where I caught the little yellow catfish and the "big" catfish 2 or 3 weeks ago. I only used Gulp! bloodworms as bait and I caught only some algae.

An unexpected wave hit me. I moved my hand to my face to save my prescription glasses but I was a second or so late

I had the glasses made 3 or 4 months ago... costed about $300

Shit happens

I'm typing this with my face only a few inches from the monitor

I got back from the mall a hour ago, ordered the same frame and lenses... I'm glad they had the same frame model in a store located in a mall only a few yards away.

Marty, I'm at a loss of words.

Somebody get this boy some floatation. Do let let the shades get you down. If you started a thread called "What have you dropped in the water while fishing?" cell phones would take up the first three pages, then we could get on to other items.

Sea Draggin, actually I'm talking about my regular glasses - not sunglasses... so the situation is worse.

I've never had sunglasses but I need them now that I'm fishing. I was considering getting one... will have to wait a bit.
