Back at home the weather was either windy or lightning bolts from hell. It was change up time so I did some hunting between the down pours. Down here about ten hunts had me run two shafts into a big pig that just ignored the hits. Tracks and feeding spots for days later showed the broadheads didn't seem to bother him.
I finally had the window to try a solo sword run. First bait got clobbered and I had a very embarassing fight on my hands. It was a godd 125 class fish that parted the line on a last dash boat side... It was to be the only sword shot of the month locally.
Late month I headed back north. O partook in a couple deer prongings and a night in the hudson. Not stellar by any means but still a good time and a few fish to keep us happy. A mix of small mahi and a couple yellowfins along with a sword release marked the score for the night.
Inshore treated me kind at one of my old haunts. Ooodles of blues with a couple bass and weakies mixed in filled the afternoons between hunts. The weather stayed ugly too long and I headed back to Florida...
